My kid rocks!

Remember a few weeks ago, when Shannon won her school spelling bee? Well, this morning was our County Bee, and she came in second place!!! We are sooo very proud of her!!! Shannon is a great speller, and has won her school spelling bee every year (except 4th grade, when she was absent with scarlet fever). This was Shannon's third trip to the county bee. Both her 5th and 6th grade year, she placed 8th in the county. She was thrilled to improve her standing...and THEN she found out she won a $150 Visa gift card, a trophy...AND she gets to continue on to the district Bee in February!!! Woot!
